Synology is a Taiwanese hardware manufacturer and one of the market leaders in the field of network-attached storage (NAS). Our reliable support packages are included in the company’s range of services.
Information on the scope of our support packages
Our support packages for Synology customers come in three different versions: on-site, on-site post-warranty and NBD replacement. Unlike the first two versions, the Synology NBD replacement support package does not include on-site service.
Synology on-site support packages and Synology on-site post-warranty support packages
Our on-site support packages can only be booked for operational systems, i.e. always including components. Our Synology on-site post-warranty support packages are intended for all systems that have not yet been serviced by Technogroup or whose service term is to be extended.
The cost of our support packages for Synology systems depends on the hardware purchase value, the term of the licence and the service-level agreement (SLA). A separate support package is required for each system; one support package cannot be booked for several systems.
The calculation is based on defined price ranges. The following ranges are sold by the distributor:

The insurable hardware value can be calculated as follows:
Basic NAS system plus expansion shelf, hard discs, memory, network cards and compatible components.

Synology NBD Replacement Support Package

Our Synology NBD replacement support packages are extended warranties for the original basic warranty available for Synology’s NAS enterprise systems. The term is always 60 months. If the customer makes a claim that is covered under the warranty, a replacement device will be delivered on the next working day, provided a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) is successfully recorded in our customer portal (TIM) by 3 pm.
Please note that a fault can only be processed by recording an RMA.
Our support packages can only be booked for new systems. A separate support package is required for each system; one support package cannot be booked for several systems.
